This Privacy Policy explains how WiSense LLC collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit wisensellc.com or use any WiSense product.
1. Who We Are
WiSense LLC ("WiSense," "we," "us," or "our") is a software venture builder based in the United States. We operate wisensellc.com and the products listed on it, including Horizon, Apex Scheduler, and Helix. Our contact address is nicholaswittle@wisensellc.com.
2. What We Collect
When you use our website or sign up for a waitlist, we may collect your email address and any other information you voluntarily provide.
When you use Horizon, the app may collect travel search parameters (origin, destination, dates), swipe preferences, and itinerary data to power the matching experience. This data is stored in our Supabase database.
We collect standard web analytics automatically — pages visited, time on site, referring URL, and browser/device type — through Vercel's built-in analytics. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: operate and improve our products; respond to your inquiries; send product updates if you have opted in; and analyze how people use our site so we can make it better.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to serve third-party advertising.
4. Third-Party Services
Our products integrate with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:
Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Data stored in Supabase is subject to Supabase's privacy policy.
Vercel — hosting and edge network. Vercel's infrastructure powers our web deployments.
Viator — Horizon displays affiliate links to Viator experiences. Clicking a Viator link takes you to Viator's platform, which is governed by Viator's privacy policy. We may earn a commission on bookings made through those links.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their policies before sharing personal information with them.
5. Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies required for the site to function (session state, preferences). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Horizon uses browser local storage and SharedPreferences to persist your trip parameters between sessions. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to any third-party advertising platform.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove it from our systems within 30 days unless we are required by law to retain it.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing nicholaswittle@wisensellc.com. If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific data rights (including under GDPR or CCPA), we will honor those rights to the extent required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date below. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

11. SMS and Mobile Messaging
Apex, our restaurant workforce and order management application, can send transactional SMS alerts to the owners, managers, and staff of subscribing restaurants, and to WiSense LLC support personnel. These messages cover new online orders, orders left unattended, shift coverage requests when an employee calls out, and support escalations raised by a venue manager. We never send marketing or promotional SMS.
For this program we collect the mobile phone number entered in Apex, the consent state attached to that number (whether alerts are on or off), and delivery status returned by our messaging provider. We use the number to send the alerts, the consent state to know whether we are permitted to send them, and delivery status to confirm messages arrived and to troubleshoot when they do not.
Numbers are entered voluntarily by an authorized manager of the venue, who enables "Staff SMS on new orders" in the venue's order alert settings and types the number in. No number enters the program any other way.
Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
We share the number only with Twilio, our SMS delivery provider, and only so that Twilio can transmit the messages described above. Twilio processes the number on our behalf under its own privacy policy.
We keep the number for as long as alerts are enabled for that venue. When a manager turns alerts off, or when you reply STOP, or when you ask us to delete the number, we remove it from the alert configuration.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message from us, or ask the venue manager to disable the alert toggle in Apex. Reply HELP to any message for help. To request deletion of a number, email nicholaswittle@wisensellc.com.
